
Training dogs using wildlife on any game land or participating in field trials using wildlife on any game land either requires the Game Lands License or a valid license that authorizes the use of the game lands. The use of game lands is now included with most annual and lifetime hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses.

They are designated collectively as “game lands.” Hunting on the Roanoke River National Wildlife Refuge is managed by the U.S. Some 2,000,000 acres of public and private lands in North Carolina are managed by the Wildlife Resources Commission for public hunting, trapping and inland fishing.
